Outside IR35 - £600 - £650 per day
Remote with occasional onsite in Manchester including first day

Jumar require the services of a Head of Demand Management for our NHS client undertaking a large digital transformation. You will help lead the ongoing development, design, and delivery of the Informatics Demand and Relationship Management function benefits realisation and digital strategy and planning. The Head of Demand Management will support service/product managers by enabling Informatics to be a more proactive, responsive and strategic service provider. This role will develop a deep understanding of customers (Hospital/MCS/Corporate) needs, identifies opportunities to solve their problems. They also fulfil a vital role in supporting and engaging with Informatics functional teams (Technology, Applications, Information services and programmes).

Deliverables
  • To implement and develop a system of capturing the Informatics demand, requirements and priorities in support of Trust strategic initiatives and activities.
  • Work closely with senior managers and their teams within Group Informatics, across the Trust and external partners and be able to horizon scan future developments and requirements.
  • Determine skills and resource requirements required to deliver the services and ensure that these are aligned to functional and customer requirements.
  • Have exceptional consultative skills and enjoy problem solving with an ability to translate the customer requirements into a basic specification suitable for informatics consumption.
  • Will identify opportunities in collaboration with clients and the Informatics Senior Team and lead in preparing Informatics enablement services including Change programme/project mandates and proposals.
  • Ensure Informatics are represented and engaged in external requirements and developments at the local and regional levels.

Demand and Business Relationships
  • Establish and oversee an end to end process for the prioritisation and categorisation of all new requests into the Informatics department in order to provide recommendations for approval/rejection including a clear communication plan
  • Managing the pipeline of requests including prospecting, activity tracking, opportunity management, resource forecasting, and closing proposals.
  • Resolving critical gaps/issues and making recommendations to senior stakeholders to ensure the request stack and its constituent projects are planned and managed effectively.
  • Applying budgets, benefits tracking and demand management principles to the overall informatics request stack.
  • Working with clinical, operational and corporate leaders to establish and implement a demand management strategy and supporting processes to enable the Trust's mission and objectives.
  • Establish a framework for how hospitals, MCS and all services engage with Informatics ensuring effective representation at hospital/digital governance.
  • Implements continuous-improvement and quality improvement programmes across the service.
  • Support the Demand Managers in understanding complex requirements for digital transformation, engagement and communications within and across the Healthcare sector.
  • Presenting highly complex information about informatics services and workstreams in an easy to consume format to a wide range of stakeholders in both formal and informal settings.
  • Support the Demand and Business Relationship team in translating client's informatics needs and requirements; providing detailed analysis to support decision making on proposed initiatives and associated investment.
