Head of Enterprise Applications Delivery.

My client are on the market looking for an experienced Head of Enterprise Applications Delivery who will be responsible for the delivery and oversight of enterprise applications platforms, currently ServiceNow, Salesforce/Financial Force, Data services, Azure Logic Apps, Power Apps, SharePoint, Office 365 developments, integrations, and reporting solutions (tableau, power BI). The focus areas for the role are to contribute to the technical roadmap, strategy and architectural principles that govern technical design allowable for deployment. Own and lead the development and deployment of platforms with the subsequent support and maintenance of these technologies. Accountability for the delivery of complex products and services, delivered by multiple teams with high technical or corporate risk. Strong project management, planning, resourcing and able to apply SDLC principles as well as experience of Agile delivery methods and use of Agile tools.

Experience needed for this role:

• Experience using MS Teams, Azure DevOps, MS Project, Excel in the context of project control, portfolio management and resource tracking. Exposure to deliveries on the Microsoft (Power, M365 & Azure) and Salesforce cloud platforms
• Working level knowledge (design level knowledge preferred) of:
  • Azure infrastructure and security
  • Data platforms (SQL Server etc)
  • Tableau and PowerBI (data mastery)
  • Salesforce (Financial Force)
  • SharePoint, Office 365
  • Power Apps and Logic Apps
  • Service Now
• Demonstrable track record in managing delivery on complex IT programmes using a variety of project management frameworks and an ability to adapt based on organisational context. Recent and proven experience of working in the delivery of technology or digital based projects
• Managing senior stakeholders and tailoring communications accordingly. Able to represent the project or programme across the department and potentially across government and with industry representatives. Should have great team leadership, inter-personal communication, and negotiation/influencing skills to guide, mentor and motivate agile teams.
