Group Finance Manager
A FTSE-listed international media group is seeking a Group Finance Manager to assume a high-profile role within their reporting and consolidations team. This is a broad role, encompassing traditional reporting responsibilities in addition to some ad-hoc project work including supporting on regular M&A transactions and providing commercial accounting support.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and delivering the external financial reporting and associated processes for half-year and year-end reporting;
- Supporting the month end consolidation process;
- Developing the Group Accounting Policy Manual;
- Providing accounting and reporting support on M&A transactions.
The ideal candidate will be a Big 4 trained ACA (or equivalent) professional with c. 3+ years PQE in a group finance role. They will have demonstrable IFRS knowledge and exposure and experience of auditing or working in a complex, listed group environment. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills will render this individual likely to succeed in this role and progress up the ranks of this high-performing team.
