My client a large utilities company based in Leeds are looking for a Senior SAP Project Manager to support them through a busy period.

This is an initial 6 month contract with a very strong possibility for extension.

What will the role involve:

• Accountable for day-to-day delivery, management, coordination and control of assigned projects including development of the Project Definition Document (PDD), including scope, goals and deliverables, with support of business owners.
• Responsible for scoping and creating Project Management Plans (PMP)
• Responsible for leading all resources assigned to the project, setting clear objectives and managing performance on a project basis. Responsible for providing feedback on project performance to project boards as appropriate.
• Accountable for accurate forecasting and reporting of key project information, updating any agreed project management reports and documentation.
• Ensuring that robust financial management and commercial awareness form the foundation of all business decisions.
• Own the identification, quantifying, tracking and reporting on the latest benefits forecast and realisation against the plan up to the point of handover to BAU.

Skills and Experience:

• Experience and knowledge of project implementation
• Experience of delivering projects to time, scope and cost
• Experience of managing resources in a project environment.
• Will have previous experience of SAP project management
• APM, Prince 2 or holding equivalent project management qualification.
