Are you currently looking for an opportunity to join a business that is undergoing a major transformation following recent investment?
I am currently supporting a business that has recently been acquired who are looking for an experienced Technology Director to join and shape their technology function. This is an extremely exciting opportunity for someone that is looking for what is essentially a blank canvas, on which they will have the opportunity to implement technological decisions. You will be responsible for installing robust systems that will play a crucial part in leading this business to outstanding success in the next few years.

About You:

You may already have experience working as a Technology Director in a global business, or you may be someone that is looking for a step up from the role of IT Manager or Head of IT. The ideal candidate will be capable and responsible for assessing what internal problems there are within the business and can identify where the problems are what the best mechanisms to alleviate them are.
You will work alongside our CFO, CEO and Chairman and will be expected to collaborate and work effectively with all key stakeholders within the business to assess and fully understand business requirements across our U.K offices and other offices on a global level.

Key Skills Required:

  • Experience in aligning IT infrastructure with existing and future business requirements and objectives.
  • Experience in ensuring information and operating systems are consistently applied, integrated, and operating effectively on a global basis.
  • Experience supervising daily operations of network and server infrastructure
  • Experience developing a robust technology governance approach.
  • Understanding of assessing tools and carrying out vendor assessments.
  • Budget Management
  • Broad understanding of laws, codes and regulations (such as GDPR)

Essential Skills:

  • Experience working on with a global office network
  • Strong personal and communication skills as you will be required to communicate and present to both internal stakeholders and the acquisition team to understand fully the needs of the business on a daily basis.
  • Developing and delivering against a Technology Roadmap
  • Experience working with vast quantities of data

Nice to haves:
  • Experience working with the professional services or recruitment/finance or HR industry.
  • Experience working in a people-based business.
