Lead Data Analyst - Remote, Inside IR35 - GBP650-GBP750 Per day

Your new company
You will be working for a large Central Government body, remotely on an exciting discovery project to start the data strategy, before implementation in April 2022.

Your new role
The Lead Data Analyst plays a Lead role in defining, building and implementing the ambitious roadmap of developing an Enterprise Information and Data Management Operating Model, focusing on data and information sharing across the organisation and improving regulatory effectiveness and efficiency whilst improving the user experience.
The lead data analyst collects, organises and studies data to provide business insight.

In this role, you will:

  • apply tools and techniques for data analysis and data visualisation (including the use of business information tools)
  • identify, collect and migrate data to and from a range of systems
  • manage, clean, abstract and aggregate data alongside a range of analytical studies on that data
  • manipulate and link different data sets
  • summarise and present data and conclusions in the most appropriate format for users

What you'll need to succeed

  • Enterprise Data & Information Management experience
  • Background in highly regulated organisations
  • Exposure to various industries and programmes
  • Working with a broad range of technologies including Azure, SQL, Oracle etc
  • Data Architecture exposure
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills. You can apply analytical techniques to present a solution.
  • Communication skills. You have strong verbal and written communication skills and understand how to share insights with stakeholders.
  • Data management. You understand data sources, data organisation and storage.
  • Datamodelling, data cleansing, and data enrichment skills. You understand conceptual, logical and physical Datamodelling and can develop knowledge of data cleansing and standardisation.
  • Data analysis. You know how to direct analysis including the discovery of information and evidence and the identification of problems and opportunities. You can ensure that recommendations fit with strategic business objectives. You are able to actively manage senior stakeholders and create a compelling case for change. You can own methods and identify the most suitable approach out of a variety of approaches. (Relevant skill level: expert)
  • Data visualisation. You can interpret requirements and present data in a clear and compelling way, using graphical representations and data visualisations.

What you'll get in return
You will be offered an interim contract, initially to the end of March 2022, however this is just the discovery phase. The project, which is sponsored by both the CTO and COO will kick of in April 2022. The role is inside IR35 and the pay rate is up to GBP750 per day. You will work remotely.
Your own IT equipment is required for this role.
