What you will be responsible for

As Alpha Implementation Workstream Lead/Analyst you will:

  • Plan and manage a single or multiple workstreams for a client implementation
  • Working with cross functional teams to break down the scope of work down into blocks of delivery, defining clear activities and accountability
  • Developing a detailed workstream project plan
  • Capturing of business requirements and reaching agreement on Target Operating Models in partnership with business architect, global implementation, product and BAU teams
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of assigned project and/or product(s) by researching facets of the operation that are unclear and developing a concise picture of the current/strategic state and working with the Alpha Implementation lead, global implementation, business architecture and product owners to define a solution which is fit for purpose.
  • Managing the solution delivery and proactively monitoring progress against the agreed plan
  • Resolving issues and initiating appropriate corrective action with key stakeholders
  • Proactively managing the workstream's risks, issues, dependencies and escalate appropriately
  • Input into the design of the program milestone planning
  • and the development and testing phases of the data management project
  • Participating in internal project governance forums clearly articulating workstream status and key issues
  • Managing internal and external senior stake holders including reporting the progress of the workstream at regular intervals to the Alpha Implementation Lead and Programme lead
  • Manage the project transition and hand off to BAU

  • Ability to understand and document complex processes, while distilling information for easy consumption by a wide variety of stakeholder groups
  • Comfortable in bridging the gap between technical/product teams and the BAU teams
  • Organised and focused on delivery
  • A self-starter who is ready to own responsibility
  • Ability to work on multiple initiatives within a wider project/programme in a fast pace environment
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree qualified with a financial or analytical discipline preferred, or relevant experience within the financial services industry
  • Minimum of 5 years of financial industry experience
  • Strong experience with MS Office (eg Visio, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Project management qualification
