This position will suite someone who has worked their way up through a technical software background, maybe you were a lead software architect that moved in to more commercial/ bid proposals space whilst implementing technical software strategy to help your business grow. Maybe you are someone who started as a developer in a small business then drove your career throughout the years into a more influential position within your company, now you have reached that glass ceiling you want to take that next step into a larger company where you can make real business change and growth.
This professional service software house is looking for a credible strategic leader to sit on the board and grow the business from a technical software point of view. You will have full autonomy to advise on business acquisitions, bid proposals and where and when innovative tech should be utilised to best help large corporate clients.
You will have 5 direct reports across various industries including critical national infrastructure, cyber defence, national security and defence with a wider reach of around 300 software engineers. You must have a solid coding background to ensure credibility when rolling out strategies across this highly technical group of engineers.
Because of the high level of cyber clearance across national security you must be a UK national and able to gain full SC Clearance.
