Description

I am currently recruiting a Senior Policy Manager Manager (Regulatory Change) with a global professional services firm in London. This role is to support our financial services clients in navigating regulatory change, with flexibility to shape the role depending on the successful candidate's area of expertise.

You will be:

  • Supporting clients and client delivery teams in understanding the impact of the emerging regulatory agenda, with a focus on one or more of the following areas (although there is flexibility for the right candidate): post-Brexit UK FS regulatory change; ESG; regulation of AI or crypto; open finance
  • Undertaking horizon scanning activities and identifying potential new opportunities for the firm
  • Contributing to the work of the team focusing on new regulatory developments, wider themes and regulators' policymaking, supervisory and enforcement activities
  • Producing written analysis and information including thought leadership, client publications and blogs
  • Conducting research, training, speaking at client events, responding to consultation papers from relevant regulatory bodies etc
  • Providing input to the debate on development and application of policy

Profile

The suitable candidate:

  • Excellent interpersonal, delivery and communication skills including using social media and other technology
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to make new contacts, build strong relationships with clients and regulators, listen to and understand client needs
  • Knowledge of the financial services sector, including the business and operational models of clients
  • Knowledge of UK's regulatory and supervisory structure, the regulatory development process for financial services and the current EU regulatory agenda
  • Desire and ability to interpret the implications of regulatory changes and identify new opportunities to assist clients, taking into account wider issues such as changes in business models and technology.

£80,000 - £100,000 PA DOE plus car allowance, bonus and benefits
