Business Development Manager- London- GBP65,000-GBP75,000 + Commission

A global FinTech company are looking for an experienced Business Development to join their team during a period of hypergrowth. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys selling, natural sales hunter and who is achievement- orientated, as well as being driven to exceeding annual sales goals through strong collaboration with partners and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver on acquisition sales targets and be the primary contact for assigned accounts
  • Responsible for developing new business sales and in doing so, prioritise and align resources to support the sale and ongoing customer engagement
  • Support and provide world class customer service to customers
  • Follow organisational policies and procedures and maintain clear and direct lines of communication to meet customer requirements
  • Responsible for communicating and promoting strategy across key sectors
  • Act as escalation point for customer service to ensure resolution
  • Document accurate client profile information to provide key industry insights and demographics
  • Partner with Business Development Managers, at times supporting them on direct sales through the channel
  • Work directly with customers to sell additional products and services

Skills/Experience:

  • Self- starter, highly organised sales hunter for new business, able to build and formulate plans and comfortable working with ambiguity
  • Ability to take a tactical approach and understand the customer's business model across Mid-Market and Small Businesses
  • Background in SaaS/software sales with the ability to influence and work cross- functionally with sales, marketing, sales ops, customer services and product
  • Solid understanding of salesforce and pipeline management
  • Ability to present and close sales
  • Track record of exceeding targets
