Are you fluent in German OR perhaps even a German national and have sales / account management experience?


We are working with a fast growth distributor and stockist of niche components for the global aerospace industry that are looking to expand their client base and market share worldwide. Partnering with major OEM’s the company’s core activity is the buying, stocking and selling of an extensive range of specialised fasteners for the global aerospace industry.


Reports to the Managing Director, developing and supporting customers worldwide. Core responsibilities entail:

  • Defining and implementing a sales strategy for the German market – their current clients and future target companies
  • Increasing sales year on year
  • Actively developing relationships with both customers and suppliers and keeping market databases up to date
  • Business and market understanding and development, including documenting market intelligence
  • Identifying and sourcing aerospace fasteners from a wide range of global suppliers
  • Ensuring quotations are produced in response to customer enquiries, followed up and analysed
  • Overseeing customer orders and monitoring their timely fulfilment


  • Fluent German language skills
  • Ideally, experience working with German customers
  • Solid commercial experience selling or buying – ideally both
  • Educated to tertiary level and/or relevant work experience
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiating skills
  • High standard of numeracy & literacy
  • Ability to establish and maintain excellent customer and supplier relationships in an international sales context
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Strong computer skills across MS Windows, in particular Excel and Word
