Operations Manager (Production/Manufacturing)

Our client is an international multi-service provider which has a key site in Devon that offers textile, hygiene and facility services solutions to clients throughout the county and further afield within the South West. The business has a highly successful production site in Devon that is keen to invest in a high calibre production focused and experienced Operations Manager.

The Role & Core Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee production levels and rates on site
• The key contact person for anything operational, at any time, & providing the right solutions when issues arise
• Improve production quality, drive efficiencies, levels of customer satisfaction and reduce costs
• Educate, motivate and upskill other members of staff within production

Background Required

• Suitable candidates will come with Production Team Leader / Management backgrounds
• Used to working within a fast-paced production environment
• Ideally, candidates will have mechanical qualifications and interest
• Passionate about product quality, standards and safety
• Leadership qualities with strength in process improvement
• Assertive but empathetic, a strong team manager & communicator at all levels
• Customer focused and not afraid to take responsibility and be hands-on when necessary
• Self-sufficient, driven and comfortable with a wealth of experience and insight to bring to the business
