This opportunity is based in a boutique investment manager with approximately £20bn AUM. They support private clients, institutions, charities, and IFAs all over the world. Their UK offices are based in the city, London, and whilst many currently work from home, their plan is to return there when it is safe and practical to do so, most likely on a hybrid working model of 2-3 days per week. They also have offices in other international locations.

The position has come available to replace someone moving internally. Also due to the expansion of the institutional business over the past few years necessitating the onboarding of many new clients.

The firm is underpinned by its ethical investment strategies, underpinning its status as an investment manager of choice for charities.

The Client Administration function covers 3 main areas:

1. Client On-Boarding

- KYC / AML

- IMA creation / drafting

- System and Static Data set up

- Custodian set up

- Transition Management

2. Client Maintenance

- Tax (they use CGiX)

- Payments

- Trades

- Reporting

3. Implementation and "bedding in" of new regulations

Your primary responsibility would be to run all teams of Client Support Administration. You will be tasked with projects and implementations and contribute to steering committees such as pricing. The focus must be the client and your approach should represent that.

The ideal applicant will be working in a similar style organisation, in a similar role. Someone who has gained the breadth of exposure necessary to deliver a market leading client support experience when dealing with the firm. You should have a good grasp of tax regimes both for UK residents and for US nationals based in the UK. You should be conversant with AML check requirements when onboarding new clients, whatever the structure or status. But perhaps most importantly, you should be someone who is exceptionally organised, inspires confidence, and can motivate the team to do likewise.
