Group Finance Director - salary circa £100k, Sheffield
An experienced Finance Director is required to join a Manufacturing business based in Sheffield. The business offers a range of unique products using the latest in modern technology and production methods. You will be working closely with the CEO and be instrumental in moving the business forward, ensuring the growth of the organisation, defining group strategy through financial insight and planning, whilst ensuring all financial reporting is up to date.
As the Group Financial Director, you will be responsible for:
* Taking control of the accounting function for the Group, improving efficiencies via speed of delivery and cost savings
* Contributing to the strategic development of the business by providing advice and guidance on financial strategy
* Direct and control finance staff to ensure that they are appropriately motivated and developed and so that they carry out their responsibilities to the required standard
* Providing accounts analysis and guidance regarding business activities, future plans, targets and key business drivers
* Ensuring compliance of the company wide financial systems and procedures
* Oversee the preparation of the Group financial accounts to ensure that these are presented accurately and on time
* Direct the internal audit program to ensure that the company complies with financial procedures and regulations
* Develop and maintain all necessary systems, policies and procedures to ensure effective and efficient financial management within the Group.
As the Group Financial Director, you will have the following:
* Qualified ACA / ACCA / ACMA
* Min 3-5 years' experience as Group Finance Director or similar (to include multi subsidiaries)
* An excellent communicator who can converse equally effectively with finance and non-finance staff
* The natural gravitas to operate and influence at an executive level with the personality and emotional intelligence to engage with entrepreneurial stakeholders
* Proven ability to operate, and excel, within a fast paced, challenging, and changing environment
* Budgeting & financial reporting
