Established client in the Horsham area seek an experienced Finance Director to join their established team. Reporting to the Chairman/MD/Board this role will be responsible for the following:
  • Overall responsibility for accounting, payroll, treasury, and financial compliance
  • Managing accounts department of 15+ staff
  • Forecasting, cost management and variance analysis
  • Monthly and quarterly reporting together with overseeing production of the annual Statutory Financial Statements and Corporation Tax computations
  • Liaison with external third parties i.e., HMRC, auditors, bank, advisors etc.
  • Ongoing review and development of financial systems and procedures
  • Ad hoc projects including the assessment of commercial opportunities as they arise
  • Involvement with Senior Board Members in the strategic development of the Company

Specific duties will also include
  • Understand, review, record and evaluate all accounting systems, procedures, and staff functionality during period when current Finance Director is still in position
  • Group cashflow forecasting
  • Company Secretarial duties in the future
  • Board representative in the future

Ideal candidate will be ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified with a number of years post qualification experience. Previous experience managing and developing a large finance team is essential as is experience working at board level. Hands on FD with Strong IT and communication skills are essential.
