Operations Director (Start-up) - "Boutique hotel group"- £130 package

Role: Operations Director

Location: Hampshire, Buckinghamshire, & Oxfordshire

Salary: £130,000 + bonus + benefits (150k package)

A unique & quality focussed start up is looking to expand within the Hampshire, Buckinghamshire, & Oxfordshire area, this is going to be all about the food, styler of service and stunning settings, it will fall into the Boutique hotel/license trade sector. Therefore, my client is looking for a Operations Director to help Develop this group, currently with 1 site, two more in the pipeline very soon, as they expand and diversify! The venues are vibrant, serve hot quality food and creative cocktails, with stunning 5-star bedrooms attached! Bedrooms, F&B, room yield etc, is key for this role being successful

The Operations Director Role:
  • Overseeing all the Hotels/Inns within the group, launching all the new sites across the country and growing the overall image and reputation through expansion
  • Helping in the overall business strategy for the group, working on financial, marketing and all business-related aspects including acquisitions
  • Ensure that the management teams are properly supported to fulfil their roles
  • Strong, hands-on approach - you will be working closely with all teams as well as the owners but will be given a lot of freedom and autonomy!
  • Having a clear financial goal, have good proven experience building sales
  • Looking at all property and legal implications for new sites

The Operations Director:
  • Must have experience as an operations Director or Managing Director coming from a business with bedrooms attached, and they account for over 50% of revenue
  • MUST have grown a business, and e able to prove this at interview stage
  • Ideally you will have excellent proven experience assisting to acquire, open and promote multiply venues.
  • Passionate and committed, can come into an environment a problem solve and get excited about growing the business
  • Must be confident in all elements of financial planning
  • Able to write complex business models and mane difficult licencing
