Head of Technical Sales - Salary Negotiable - Hemel Hempstead
IGA are working with a fast growing, highly accredited, award-winning UK firm specialising in the Education Sector. Our client specialise in supplying software, IT hardware, training and managed service solutions to both public and private sectors.
The purpose of this role is to own the company's Technical Services business division which includes, revenue, profit streams and customer facing proposals, while encompassing the overall ownership of Technical Services Portfolio from pre-sales process.
Working closely with the Sales Director and Head of Technical Services, the role will ultimately be a balance between day-to-day sales duties customer facing activities and business development, as well as content and portfolio maintenance.
Role Details
Technical Sales Team, Day-Day Sales Management duties.
Achieve Sales Revenue and GP targets (New Business & Renewals)
Regular Pipeline report to Sales Director
Support development for related Product and Service portfolio
Services-related content for marcoms activity
Training on portfolio to wider sales teams
Execute New Business Development strategies
Create programs and campaigns internally and customer facing to drive new sales
Key Responsibilities
- Managing sales teams against performance
- Customer meetings/proposal initiation
- New business development strategies
- Monitoring and prioritising renewals
- All aspects of Sales Pipeline ownership, regular reporting and calls (alongside the CCO & Sales Director)
- Close relationship with the Head of Technical Services and therefore input on Service portfolio development and maintenance.
- Regular content creation (campaigns, blogs etc.)
- Major Account Sponsorship (key VIP accounts)
- Assisting Customer Success Manager (ie function) with existing account growth-conducting Quarterly Business Reviews
- Internal Sales Training
