Day Rate: GBP450-GBP500 via umbrella (inside IR35)

My client, a leading Insurance company, are looking for a Financial Reporting Manager to join their dynamic team on a 6 month day rate contract.

Responsibilities Include:

• Performing assurance activity, supporting reporting, including IFRS, Solvency II and APM reporting
• Responsible for preparing level scoping & risk assessments
• Liaise with local external auditors
• Assist in the delivery of the quarterly and year end certification process
• Responsible for performing continuous risk assessments
• Proactively managing key stakeholders
• Taking a role in identifying and sharing best practice on FRCF across the UK teams
• Provide delivery support to wider FRCF team to ensure timely delivery of FRCF assurance activity across key reporting cycles

Required:

• Fully qualified Accountant or Actuary
• Recent audit experience (external audit or internal audit)
• Experience and knowledge of general insurance
• Risk and controls delivery experience, including SOX and internal risk and controls management
• Knowledge and experience of financial reporting controls
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to communicate complex issues in an easily understood manner
• Ability to prioritise workload effectively to meet deadlines whilst maintaining high quality of outputs
• Work as a part of a highly motivated team to deliver the whole team objectives

The day rate for this position is GBP450 - GBP500 (inside IR35 - rate to Umbrella). With offices across the UK, my client offers a hybrid working model and are flexible around each individual's requirements.
