Method Resourcing has exclusively partnered with a leading providing o intelligent Cloud, Software and IOT products and is now looking for a Head of Platform and Architecture to be accountable for the platform architecture predominantly focusing on cloud applications, however, has influence across all elements of the platform. This role reports into the CTO and has management responsibilities which include team leadership plus a focus on strategy, definition, capability leadership and ensuring the sustainability and scalability of the platform.

The successful Head of Platform and Architecture will have the following experience:

• Has experience of leading a platform capability with architecture responsibilities
• A mature view of platform engineering and architecture best practices and designs
• Has evidence of designing high quality, testable software in cloud applications (ideally AWS)
• Strongly advocated the voice of the customer and is heavily delivery focused
• Has experience working for product focused organisations or has experience working for a high growth technology business (Ideally SaaS)
• Considers themselves a strong people leader who loves to empower engineers, succession planning and is able to articulate a plan and vision that engineers buy into
• Has strong knowledge of Microservices Architecture, CI/CD and DevOps tooling
• Can work closely with Head of Data, Head of Delivery and Head of Data to ensure the architecture fits in line with their road maps
