Part time working / job share requests will be considered.  The county council will also support flexible working (including remote) where possible.

The role:

  • This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a talented multi-disciplinary team whose work programme includes:
  • healthy behaviours, health protection and supportive communities.
  • providing core public health expertise and assurance to the health and care economy.
  • supporting building the evidence about what works in new and existing interventions and innovations and how we can create communities and an economy that places wellness as the cultural norm.

What you’ll bring:

  • You will be able to demonstrate experience in building constructive relationships with senior colleagues in local authorities, the NHS and with other partners in complex environments.
  • You will provide strategic public health leadership on different work programmes and be able to help transform public health outcomes for Staffordshire residents.
  • You must be included on the GMC Specialist Register in Public Health or the UK Public Health Register for Public Health Specialists.
