Leading building materials supplier are looking for a new E-Commerce Manager.

They are embarking on an exciting new venture to provide a sustainable E-Commerce solution to its customers, end users and trade across the globe. With a road map in place for European countries, the next important step is to hire an E-Commerce Manager for the UK & Ireland.

Description

The main purpose of the E-Commerce Manager for UK and Ireland is to develop, implement, and rapidly upscale a market-leading E-Commerce experience which delivers against engagement, revenue growth, and profit targets. The successful candidate will work effectively cross-functionally, from marketing to supply chain, to develop and continually evolve a successful E-Commerce platform, optimising the customer journey and enabling an excellent customer experience.

The E-Commerce Manager will seek to continuously optimise site functionality and User Experience in order to boost sales and profitability. The successful candidate will regularly analyse and report on results and make recommendations to deliver continuous improvement.

This is a career opportunity, initially a self-managing role then building a team in the future. The E-Commerce Manager will be part of a successful UK and Ireland Marketing function, as well as, part of a global E-Commerce team.

Profile

The E-Commerce Manager will:

  • Have a successful track record of building and operating E-Commerce multichannel strategies.
  • Have a proven track record in scaling an E-Commerce business driving revenue growth.
  • Have the ability to provide both strategic and tactical direction as well as providing direct, hands-on execution.
  • Have strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Expertise with B2C and B2B E-Commerce
  • Have extensive knowledge of customer journey mapping.
  • Have knowledge of product data classification.
  • Have a strong commercial acumen.
  • Be analytical.
  • Be a collaborator.
