Description

I am currently recruiting for a Manager Operational Risk & Resilience Regulation with the PRA. You will be:

  • crafting and delivering our supervisory strategy for operational risk and resilience. This will include shaping our supervisory strategy, prioritising the work pieces we undertake and carrying out risk review activity with a particular focus on change and outsourcing across all firms in UKDT.
  • Leading and crafting the agenda for non-systemic firms, including providing peer analysis, for all areas of operational risk and resilience.
  • As the team grows, running a sub-team of people. Providing strong leadership, coaching, developing and delivery through others. You will also be responsible for handling all staff-related matters that may arise for your direct reports including performance, absence and sickness.
  • Managing and influencing multiple stakeholders in the PRA and the wider Bank including addressing senior committees.
  • Supporting the Senior Managers in the running of the team.

Profile

You will:

  • Sound understanding of the operational risk, operational resilience and outsourcing PRA policies and the challenges faced by firms.
  • Ability to lead and motivate other members of staff, including a willingness to mentor and develop others;
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including listening and compassion. You should have the ability to influence and challenge while building and maintaining relationships with both internal and external stakeholders;
  • Excellent judgement and analytical skills;
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with an ability to understand complex data and filter salient information quickly;
  • Excellent workload management skills, with the ability to work flexibly, adapt rapidly to competing priorities and work well under pressure;
