Description

The Stock & Inventory Manager will take full responsibility of stock integrity across a multi-client warehouse environment. Based at our clients site in Kent you will develop and maintain SOP's and KPI targets for the stock control and operational teams. Through WMS application you will effectively manage each individual clients stock integrity and provide regular reports through detailed analysis ensuring any stock losses and potential financial exposure is escalated to the General Manager and Operations Director The role will include developing continuous improvement, business systems and process development opportunities whilst maintaining and developing customer relationships at a strategic level. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering continuous improvement initiatives, to improve efficiencies and minimise stock loss and shrinkage.
  • Accountability for delivering overall designated client stock control budget, report stock losses against client and or contract specifics.
  • Implementing the company values and behaviours via the inventory team.

Profile

The successful Stock & Inventory Manager will live within a commuting distance of our clients site in Kent and be able to demonstrate the following experience:

  • Experience in overseeing an inventory management operation including the use of PI systems (perpetual/periodic inventory).
  • An in-depth knowledge of WMS and ERP systems.
  • Strong leadership skills gained from previous management positions.
  • Fully conversant with Microsoft applications and analytically skilled.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Customs and Excise and ETSF storage regulation experience would be advantageous.
