Key Responsibilities:

Main operations area

  • Assess data quality requests, processes & set performance targets of those improvements
  • Implement quality delivery, methods & processes
  • Clean, Enhance & Monitor work & implementation

Management of requests

  • Management of data quality requests & prioritisation
  • Scope requirements for and deliver secondary analysis or interpretative reporting based on organisational priority, working with technical leads and strategic partners to establish need and feasibility.

Delivery & implementation

  • Provision of data specifications & delivery/implementation.
  • Ensure development and management of comprehensive project plans to support the delivery of data corrective measures.
  • Work with technical leads and stakeholders to ensure the effectiveness of deployments, supported by the leads.

Cleansing & Data quality assurance

  • Drive analysis, requirements & remediations to fix data quality issues.
  • Performance management of the team including monitoring work time, task performance, work behaviour, etc.
  • Collaborate across other business services (finance, Marketing) to understand their priorities around data and how this can contribute to data effectiveness (fit for purpose), in alignment with Data program & Data services strategy.

Skills and Experiences:

  • Management experience of a team with various seniority levels.
  • Experience in delivering data analysis or data projects (Agile)
  • Experience in data delivery projects.
  • Experience in Stakeholders management of various seniority levels.
  • Ability to thoroughly analyse the current situation and identify not just the needs of the individual but also how these fit into the wider business strategy.
  • Advanced understanding of identifying sources of, collecting, and analysing data and metrics using statistical methods and various tools.
  • Data management & data governance experience.
  • Data analysis ((manipulate, analyse and interpret complex data sets relating to the employer's business, delivery information that supports decision making (Quality analytics).
