This Bristol based FMCG manufacturer is seeking an SEO Manager to create and deliver an SEO strategy and roadmap for both UK and developing international online stores.

As well as providing a range of products, they are also very focused on these products providing meaningful change for the consumers but also the environment.

Description

The main responsibilities will be:

  • Formulating and delivering the SEO strategy across the company's eCommerce sites, included technical, content, offsite & promotion
  • Championing SEO across the business, "educating" stakeholders and writing precise briefs for the copy writers to ensure SEO best practice is always at the forefront of all onsite content
  • Running regular audits of the sites using a variety of SEO tools (e.g. Screaming Frog / Search Console) and provide clear and concise briefs to the web developers / merchandising teams to ensure issues are promptly identified and fixed;
  • Monitoring and improving Core Vitals;
  • Using search insight to help drive decision-making and innovation across the business.
  • Working closely with the Digital Marketing, Trading and Content teams to share innovations, drive tests and efficiencies as well as learnings to deliver a highly effective search operation
  • Creating and delivering clear, concise, & regular reporting of SEO performance that meets the needs of all stakeholders

Profile

To be considered for this SEO Manager role:

  • Demonstrable experience running successful SEO activity on enterprise level ecommerce websites;
  • Hands on experience managing and improving SEO for Ecommerce retailers;
  • Extensive knowledge of the SEO landscape and Google Search Console;
  • Solid understanding of Google Analytics to deliver insight and commercial analysis of performance;
  • Google Analytics certification is preferred;
  • Experience in Shopify Plus sites is desirable;
  • A pro-active and collaborative approach to problem solving ;
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills;
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present information verbally and in written format in an effective and impactful way
