The company’s modern facility in Llanberis, near Bangor in north Wales employs 400 staff and is the sole manufacturer and distributor of IMMULITE reagents for in-vitro diagnostic medical devices used in hospitals worldwide to aid the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions in blood analysers.

Reporting to site Managing Director, as part of the Senior Leadership Team, this appointee will be responsible for a team of 65 staff and a budget of £4m. They will lead a high profile, business critical technology transfer project involving the set up and ongoing management of manufacturing in Llanberis. This project will significantly increase production capacity, bringing CRM to the site, decreasing cost per test, and enhancing on time delivery.

Siemens Healthineers seek an individual with detailed knowledge and experience in leading manufacturing operations (and ideally technology transfer projects) within diagnostics or biologicals at a senior level. With experience of project management and project delivery, and process/ software/ equipment validation, this appointee will have a background in leading and developing production processes and the ability to work cross site and cross functionally.
