The Technical Project Manager is a temporary role that is required to manage the migration of business applications & infrastructure from Consumer Healthcare into the New Company and to provide back fill resource for members of the shopper science lab team involved in the project.

The scope of the role will be extremely varied & reflects the innovative nature of the Lab. The individual will need to be highly organised, with a clear attention to detail, as they will need to establish a highly efficient set of processes & procedures to facilitate the smooth transition to the New Company. The right candidate needs to have excellent project management & organisation skills along with a background in IT Support with a wide understanding of technologies from AV to Network Infrastructure. They will be required to be hands on with technical tasks and be of an innovative & creative mindset to deal with the variety of issues that will arise. The individual will need to be a fast starter with a can do' attitude along with a willingness to get stuck into some of the more menial tasks. Some out of hours work during the week might be required, so the individual will need to have a flexible approach to their hours of work.

This role is for an initial 6 months contract.

Key Responsibilities:

The key responsibilities will be:
  • Management of the Transition of Shopper Science Lab Applications & Technology to the New Company.
  • Manage project planning & administration for the shopper science lab applications & technology as part of the Spin Project.
  • Work with Tech & Procurement teams to transition the applications & vendors to the new company
  • Provider User Communication & Conduct User acceptance Testing.
  • Produce Documentation, Reports & project plans as required
  • Demonstrated Matrix management skills and a clear ability to work effectively in cross functional team environment.
  • Strong demonstrable Technical Skills required.
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Good relationship/stakeholder management skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills.
  • Copes well under pressure and with uncertainty.
  • Understanding of our processes related to IT projects an advantage.
  • To be able to understand the SSL Tools & Technologies the candidate will need to immerse themselves in the SSL team and get stuck in to all tasks
  • Backfill other members of the SSL team to provide a variety of tasks
  • Some IT Support & Office admin Tasks will be required.

Some out of hours work during the week might be required, so the individual will need to have a flexible approach to their hours of work.

Minimum Level of Education
  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in an IT support IT project management role.

Area of Specialisation
  • IT Project Management, AV IT Technical Support
  • Experience of Application Development an advantage.

Minimum Level of Job-Related Experience required
IT project management & IT Support experience in FMCG or Pharmaceutical industry. Any experience of migrating systems or system rollouts would be a key advantage.
Good problem solving & technical skills in AVIT including Windows 10, Windows Server, Network infrastructure & device configuration.
Excellent customer facing skills.
Any application development experience also an advantage.
Awareness of ITIL framework
