About Our Client

The firm will be an independent UCITS Investment Manager with newly created, actively managed ETFs investing in a diversified portfolio of fixed income and equity securities, targeted at retail investors and institutional investors. The investors behind the firm have an exceptional track record for success and the firm is well funded.

Job Description

The CEO will be responsible for leading the Investment Management activities and to deliver the firm's business and financial plan, including the expected returns of its products.

The objective of the Company is to provide its fund investors and institutional clients with superior asset allocation and risk-adjusted returns, with 3 distinctive features:

(i) significantly lower fees than comparable products available in the market;

(ii) avoiding conflict of interests which are common in the asset management industry

(iii) a high degree of simplicity and transparency in the underlying managed funds and portfolios.

The firm will be targeting mid to high single digit annual returns, primarily through a combination of highly liquid public equity, corporate debt, government bonds, and cash. The firm's investment process will identify investment opportunities through bottom-up, fundamental analyses and will be characterised by a buy and hold approach. The CEO of the firm will be instrumental to the firm's success and will lead the way in ensuring the firm hits these targets.
 

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have a track record of success, working for a top-tier consultancy, investment bank or investment company, want to fast-track their career and take a leap into a well-funded start-up. This is likely to be the individual's first CEO role.

The CEO will be entrepreneurial in nature, possess intellectual curiosity, strong analytical skills, sound judgement in making decisions, financial acumen and proven leadership skills.

The CEO will be based in the company's headquarter in Dublin. Prior investment experience or experience liaising with the Central Bank of Ireland would be a plus.
