IT Director, Travel Sector, Bristol, £90k-£110k+ generous benefits + possible relocation expenses
As we emerge out of Pandemic and the downturn in the travel sector, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced IT Director to join a travel technology provider as the business prepares for further expansion.
The private equity / VC backed business has developed revolutionary travel booking platforms and solutions, enabling the travel industry to engage B2B users and B2B agencies, fully integrating with existing technology such as Salesforce.
The cloud-based platform enables sales of flights, hotels, transfers and other travel deals, supporting the agency brand and providing unique insights into the needs to travellers.
The business expects to see exponential growth of over 100% in the next 12 months, with plans to take the existing team of circa 250 people up to around 4-500 people. As such, the business wishes to appoint an 'IT Director' to the 'top table' within the business, managing technology services, support and talent within the organisation.
The newly created role of IT Director will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer (one of the original founders of the business) and will work as part of the senior leadership team within the business.
Ideally we seek an IT Director with the following attributes:
* Experience as an IT Director in working within a business experiencing significant growth.
* The ability to work within a private equity / VC funded business.
* Experience of working with providers of integrated solutions / cloud based solutions would be ideal.
* Experience in managing an IT department, maturing the IT function and leading multi-disciplinary teams of technology teams.
