JOB TITLE: Head of Children's Integrated Commissioning
LOCATION: East London
PAY RATE: £ 424.19 Daily PAYE / £550 Daily Umbrella
START DATE: ASAP
DURATION/Hours: 6-month initial contract/ 35 hours a week
IR35 STATUS: Inside

Job Purpose:

To manage the Children's Integrated Commissioning team.Roles and responsibilities:

To provide senior leadership, oversight and line management to the work of those teams responsible for commissioning as it relates to children and young people's health and wellbeing (including maternity).
Oversight and management of Integrated Travel Functions for Children's, the delivery of the Independent Travel Training for children, the oversight and management of Short Break's Co-ordination Service, alongside the Children with Disabilities Team; and the commissioning, management, and brokerage of accommodation for care leavers.
To identify service improvements and efficiencies and design and deliver programmes of transformational change through the effective commissioning of services.
To manage commissioning staff, and work in a matrix away across a wide range of teams and partners.
To manage the service and related budgets including responsibility for the day-to-day management of commissioning budgets for those services for whom commissioning is undertaken; the development and implementation of detailed transformation plans and the management of delivery programmesKnowledge and experience:

Local authority experience is desirable
Experience of management
Experience with Children's commissioning teams
