VP of Engineering & Product (CTO/CPO)
My client are a hugely exciting B2B SaaS business who are continuing to expand at an impressive rate. Their product is used globally by nearly 50,000 organisations, which allows them strong continuous revenue streams. They are currently looking to hire a technical product leader who can bridge the gap between the executive function and a highly talented, and experienced product and engineering team. The product journey is set for the next 12 months, and so initially this role will be building a more cohesive, delivery focused environment for the developers. This role would be an ideal fit for a CPO/Product Director who comes from a strong engineering background. This role will help scale and grow this function, whilst retaining quality output and key deliverables. The ideal person will have managed software professionals in start/scale up environments and ideally enterprise environments also. The long term vision for this role is the continued growth of the platform. The VP of Engineering & Product will make critical decisions around what the next iteration of the product should be, immersing themselves in the industry and building teams to support this journey. Your skill set will be a great blend of technical and product. Ideally you'll have started life as a coder and led technical teams, but have also gained strong experienced managing product management functions.
The role is paying £120,000 plus a strong bonus and wider further earning potential. Although the team is fully remote, you'll be needed in Manchester 2 days a fortnight for strategic meetings.
