Global Head of Communications - GBP80-90K- Farnborough/Remote

My client is a global software provider. With an impressive growth story to date, they are now looking for the newest member of their marketing team.

The Role

As a senior marketing leader, you'll be the chief storyteller, responsible for developing the external communications strategy. You will deliver customer-centric content of exceptional quality that will communicate the brand story, rally people behind our mission, and drive growth at scale. With an overarching goal of building a strong reputation for the business, the Global Head of Communication will coordinate projects across accounts. This senior leadership role will be a strong sparring partner for the SVP Marketing as well as the Leadership team.

Own the vision, strategy, and execution for the external communication across all account touchpoints in strong collaboration with internal stakeholders

Writes and/or sources inspiring content that influences the core stakeholders in our targeted accounts and prepares leadership pieces, website content, press kits, photo database, video content, customer success stories, presentations, round tables and more

Ensure all content is on-brand and consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice across all customer touchpoints

Leverage data and market insights to develop new content themes and topic ideas, to gauge content effectiveness

Develop and implement standards, systems, and best practices for content creation, distribution, maintenance, retrieval, and repurposing.

Skills Required:

10+ years of experience in a communication or marketing role in the Enterprise SaaS Industry

Strong experience with brand storytelling and PR

Proven experience developing engaging and effective content for B2B Accounts

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and creative excellence

Strong project management skills, with the ability to thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced environment, setting objectives, and ruthlessly prioritising activities based on impact

Having a solid agency and supplier network is a plus

Independent, self-motivated, and proactive, with strong attention to detail and flawless written and spoken English (another European would be a massive bonus, but not essential)!
