Chief Technology Officer (CTO) - Exciting Aerospace Scaleup - Bedfordshire - up to £120k
We are on the hunt for a driven, focused and entrepreneurial CTO to join an incredibly exciting aerospace scaleup based in Bedfordshire.
Our client had a vision to revolutionise aerospace in the 21st century in order to give everyone back their most valuable asset - time. Having now developed their products they are looking for a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to develop and expand the company's technological infrastructure and ensure that they are in alignment with the goals and vision of the company.

Key responsibilities as the CTO will include:
* Identifying technologies that can be utilised to improve and refine the company's products
* Initiating, collating and presenting reports to the Board on the company's status, goals and progress
* Identifying long and short term IT needs to ensure the successful development and expansion of the company
* Tracking, analysing and monitoring technology performance metrics
* Ensuring that technological processes are in line with relevant laws and regulations
* Taking the lead in overseeing the system designs and changes and leading the technical team in everyday operation
* Developing and monitoring KPIs
* Keeping up to date with all relevant technologies
* Conducting reviews of all IT products or systems to evaluate their potential value for the business
* Recruiting team members as required

What we're looking for:
* Extensive experience in similar CTO / Technology Project Manager / Technology Lead roles
* Experience of the Aerospace industry at a part 23 or part 27 level and preferred UAV or UAM / Drone knowledge
* Knowledge of / experience in the Aerospace / Aviation industry
* Degree educated or suitably qualified by experience
* Supervisory experience working and leading a team of highly skilled people
* Good business acumen in order to identify relevant business needs both now and in the future
* Strong presentation skills in order to deliver reports to the Board
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Fluent in English with good written and verbal skill
* Entrepreneurial mindset
* Previous experience working in a startup / scaleup / rapid growth organisation is desirable
