Head of Pre-Sales - Head of Presales - Presales - Pre-sales - Microsoft - Cisco - £120-£130k base + £20% bonus + Package - Hybrid Working - South East - London

Due to continued expansion and rapid growth, our client a leading Cisco Partner are actively recruiting for a technically adept, Head of Pre-Sales to work with their CTO and Sales Leads. You will lead a well-established team of Solutions Architects, ensuring that all aspects of the pre-sales engagement, solution propositions, presentations, demos, scope of works and bids responses are of required quality whilst covering all technical and commercial aspects of the customer requirements.

You will have excellent management and employee development skills as well as pride yourself on delivering excellent internal and external customer service. You will be required to provide senior management reporting of skills, workload, opportunities and won deals, and will act as a resource escalation to sales, ensure the team continues to address the technical needs of our customers and how this aligns to our in-house capability and emerging skills. You will be an integral part of the front end of the business, and this is a multi-faceted role where you will serve as an advisor to customers and a technical coach and mentor to your team.

Through your team, you will support sales throughout the sales cycle, which may include end customer meetings and presentations. You will find a collaborative work environment rewarding yet are equally content and able to work independently. As an influential and effective pre-sales leader, you are eager to share your knowledge and best practices to develop and sustain an open line of communication with your team.

Technical and Managerial:

Proven ability of managing a growing and technically competent pre-sales team.
Strong all-round knowledge of the IT landscape with a technical solution understanding of hybrid enterprise IT solutions focused on Cisco and Microsoft.
Excellent understanding of IT consulting services and managed services with a Cisco and/or Microsoft Partner
Experience in conducting pre-sales activities, including requirement scoping and estimation.
Experience with tender or bid responses (£100k - £10m)
Ability to present to internal and external clients at all levels from C-level to technical staff.
Proven ability of establishing and maintain vendor relationships.
Experience of design resource / services / managed services led opportunities
