MMP Consultancy is seeking a Band 8c Head of Operational Estates on behalf of one of our NHS clients based in north-west London. The Head of Estates role is to start as soon as possible for a period of 6 to 12 months, subject to extension thereafter.

The Head of Estates can expect a rate of pay of £55 per hour, or £412 per day via an umbrella company. A PAYE rate conversion can be made upon request of applying Head of Estate candidates. The position falls inside of IR35 and so payment into Head of Estates' LTD Companies will be taxed at source.

This role provides support to the Head of Estates and Capital Projects. It will be the single point of contact for the Estates Maintenance Service, carrying senior and professional responsibility for the effective, safe and compliant delivery of all the Trust wide Estates maintenance services.

These services include Maintenance Services, Grounds Maintenance and sustainability. They will act as the Trust's specialist for all engineering, building services and maintenance matters giving professional advice on such areas. Areas to include:

* all plant rooms
* generators
* ventilation plants
* steam distribution
* HV/LV electrical distribution
* heating systems
* cooling systems
* lifts
* medical gas
* domestic hot
* cold water generation and distribution
