Treasury Project Lead - FMCG Business - Outside IR35 - Contract

My client is a specialist retailer looking to take on a Treasury Specialist with experience within FMCG to join their team on a 5 month basis.

Responsibilities:

* Manage day to day cash requirements and seek opportunities for the business to minimise foreign exchange risk and reduce interest costs through cash management.

* Formalise the Treasury policy.

* Enable the business to manage foreign exchange risk.

* Supporting weekly and monthly bank reporting.

* Help prepare returns, improve policies, resolve queries and ensure compliance.

* Continual improvements with treasury policies, procedures, reporting & systems

* Prepare information for external auditors

* Maintaining the cash flow to providing both short and long term cash flow data each entity.

* Preparing and reporting of covenant data.

About you:

* Strong treasury experience in a FMCG or Retail environment.

* Qualified AMCT and/or ACCA, CTA and/or ACA/CIMA.

* Experience of Asset Backed Lending funding structure and other funding facilities.

* Ability to model daily balance sheet and cash flow for forecasting and covenant purposes.

* Treasury systems knowledge.

* Attention to detail - ability to manage multiple tasks to challenging timetables with strong planning and organisational skills.
