Barclay Simpson are currently recruiting a Global Head of Sanctions for an extremely fast-growing and highly recognisable payments business. This is a rare opportunity to join a company in scale-up mode and to take full ownership of the Sanctions programme.

You will be responsible for the entirety of the Sanctions programme as the company continues to scale quickly and expand into new territories. The current sanctions framework is a part of the wider financial crime function and so you will be responsible for building this from scratch and building a team of proficient sanctions professionals.

This is a hugely exciting opportunity. The role can be based out of London or New York. The firm offers a flexible working policy and an opportunity to have excellent visibility with senior management. The ideal candidate will be an OFAC Sanctions specialist. This will be both a strategic and hands on role in the first instance. Expect a fast pace of working and lots of exciting projects to get stuck into!

The salary on offer will be driven mainly by the candidate's level but an expected range of £130,000-£190,000 plus benefits.
