Client Details
An American multinational technology company with a strong global presence. They are industry-leading in providing consultancy services; specialising in information technology and outsourcing services.
Description
- HR Services will report to the Global Procurement Director.
- identifying opportunities to reduce third-party spend and increase value of purchases within the HR category.
- Ensure; standardisation of demand requirements, optimisation of contracts and drive the negotiation rates and terms globally.
- Establishes and maintains a needs-based segmented supply base.
- Ensures that sourcing practices and processes conform to procurement policies and legal frameworks.
- Suggests and works with the Category Director/Procurement SLT on process improvements e.g. introduction of more efficient working methods.
- Help implement, with the procurement director, systems to monitor supplier performance
- Execute against savings pipeline that are laid out by the Category lead.
- Liaise closely with the end-users in determining their requirements so as to provide early input into the sourcing process.
- Provides recommendations on sourcing strategy based on stakeholder needs (RFx, direct negotiation etc.
- Ensures that end-users requirements are sufficiently detailed in an appropriate format
- Accountable for all orders to be placed within service level agreement (SLA) limits.
Profile
- Preferred Degree or Diploma in Procurement, Finance, Business Management, HR or equivalent.
- Detailed knowledge of advanced procurement methods and techniques.
- Full understanding of RFx process and proficiency in the HR category relating to HR benefits and Talent Acquisition needs.
- Ability to work in a flexible environment, an independent thinker, relationship-focused, client-focused.
- The ability to navigate a large-scale global organization.
- Qualified to a minimum of level 4 CIPS (not essential).
- Understanding of public sector procurement including a working knowledge of procurement legislation.
