My innovative Global Payments client is looking for a Director Business Development to join their pioneering commercial team based in London, responsible for building a sales pipeline by both utilising your existing network and building Executive-level relationships with new prospects This is a permanent role with flexible working options.

- Accountable for the full sales life cycle from prospect through to revenue generation.
- Ability to deliver against a business revenue target to achieve the growth with a focus on decreasing time to revenue generation.
- Working closely with Sales Operations, converting generated leads, providing input to the lead generation process to bolster the longer-term sales pipeline.
- Development of the early stage of the client relationship collaborating closely with the Relationship Management team.
- Industry intelligence and client requirements to support the Product team in continual development of our Value Proposition.
- Deliver against and provide input to the Insurance go to market strategy as defined by the CCO and wider business.
- Collaborating with Sales Operations, providing live feedback on internal and customer facing sales processes and revenue generation.
- Minimum 6+ years' experience in senior enterprise, consultative sales with a focus on Insurance sector
- Proven track record of establishing, building and maintaining strong, high-value client relationships.
- Subject Matter Expert in Insurance industry best practices focusing on banking and payments requirements.
- Previous background in start-ups, you will be expected to provide live feedback on improvements to propositions, internal processes and ways of working.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to relate with co-workers, customers and partners and other stakeholders.
