Head of Engineering London to £150k
Head of Engineering (C# Microservices .Net Core Kubernetes). Would you like to have a highly impactful and challenging role within a successful sports betting company? You'll be expected to be office based for the majority of time but the company will offer some work from home flexibility.
As the Head of Engineering you'll be reporting directly into the CTO and working closely with a team of 4 of the best software engineers within the company. You'll remains hands-on coding for 50% of the time whilst fulfilling leadership and delivery duties. The team focus on maintaining a balance between innovation and standardisation across all development teams within the business. You'll be exploring and evaluating new technologies, ensuring the teams are up to date with the latest tech and incorporating any new tools where necessary. Although you'll encourage the use of new tech, you'll also focus on standardisation across teams to ensure they are using the same technologies and tools and are working efficiently. The business are in the process of migrating to AWS which you will also be heavily involved in.
The company is based in a fantastic and scenic area of London with plenty of pubs, restaurants and shops nearby.

Requirements:
- Experience within a similar role or within a systems delivery focussed team previously
- Strong C# development and .Net Core skills
- Very good understanding of Microservices
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Experience with event driven systems or ideally a financial services background
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
