New Client Engagement Director - Rapidly-Growing PE-Backed Cloud MSP

Our client:

Our Client is a rapidly-growing Cloud Managed Service Provider that has just received private equity investment and is looking to grow exponentially. They’ve received investment from one of the biggest private equity firms in the world and are looking to hire New Business Specialists from the IT Services / Connectivity / Cloud Managed Services sector. They’re looking to maximise their Sales performance by appointing a dynamic Sales team and developing a supportive and encouraging culture.

The role:

Whilst reporting to the VP of Sales, you will be selling our client’s Hyperscale Cloud & Digital Transformation Services across multiple verticals whilst monitoring upcoming opportunities in the market:

  • With the support of the bid and marketing teams, and lead generation, you will manage your own sales pipeline and ensure targets are consistently met through acquiring New Logos and carrying out Business Development activity.
  • You will be responsible for revenue generation from across the full portfolio of services, focussing on digital transformation and cloud managed services.
  • Liaise with clients regarding the operational challenges they encounter, and help solve those with the provided service suite.

The candidate:

  • The building and maintenance of influential relationships are integral to the company’s success; you must be a keen networker with experience working at CXO Level.
  • Must have demonstratable success over a long period in sales, particularly in selling digital transformation, managed (public cloud) hosting services and associated consultancy.
  • Have a passion for technology and an interest in how it impacts the market today; you will have in-depth cloud knowledge surrounding Azure, AWS, Google, Private Cloud and Mainframe.
