Head of HR - financial services
A leading financial services Group is currently looking for a Head of HR to join them on a permanent basis. The company is well established within its sector and operates within a number of international markets.
This a stand-alone HR role which will require an experienced HR manager and leader who has worked within the financial services sector previously. Experience of this sector is a non-negotiable requirement.
The incoming candidate will be CIPD level 7 and should have several years’ HR generalist experience across the following areas: payroll; crafting HR policy; performance management; salary / compensation review processes; recruitment and on-boarding process management; and training. It is essential that the post-holder possess strong interpersonal skills; be a collaborative, empathetic and autonomous operator with an excellent solution-seeking mindset and a high level of integrity.
As the Head of HR you will act in a consultative capacity to provide leadership, insight and guidance to the managing directors and the senior leadership team on all HR related areas. Furthermore, the business has undergone a number of strategic changes of late and as such the Head of HR will be expected to contribute to a number of upcoming projects across organisational design, benefits, employee engagement together with other succession planning activity.
Lastly, the business has made several acquisitions of late and has a number of other small targeted acquisitions in sight. As such, experience of having worked on M&A projects and dealing with resulting TUPE activity would be useful.
Please note this role will demand 3 days a week in the office. The rest of the week can be spent working from home.
