As the Cladding Remediation Project Manager, you will work with external stakeholders throughout the life cycle of the cladding issue, taking a remediation plan from inception, through funding stages, and monitoring delivery. The role will cover all aspects of delivering cladding remediation projects from design, planning and construction stages, through to programme delivery.

The key responsibilities as the Cladding Remediation Project Manager are as follows:

  • Responsibility for commercial control and financial delivery of the Cladding Remediation projects
  • Manage projects across multiple sites simultaneously
  • Effective communications and dealings with freeholders and management companies to ensure delivery of a safe, fair, and proportionate remedial solution to buildings not in our ownership
  • Managing and developing relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, driving good clear communication throughout the Group and Business Unit teams
  • Ensure risk is fully understood, managed and actioned to the appropriate time frames to deliver project objectives
  • The role may be required to support projects nationally as required
  • Maintain a comprehensive and up to date knowledge of all relevant legislation, procedures, and best practice, including the EWS1 assessment process and applicable standards for cladding remediation projects


The successful Cladding Remediation Project Manager will need the following:

  • A detailed technical knowledge of cladding design and installation
  • Experience in delivering cladding remediation projects or other similar high-value, technical remedial or improvement works
  • A keen eye for detail, and an appreciation for the role that strong communication plays in delivering a successful project
  • An awareness of the wider political and socio-economic climate surrounding the cladding landscape
  • Fire Safety Qualifications e.g. NEBOSH Fire or IFE accreditation desirable but not essential
  • MCIOB desirable
  • The ability to travel across Central and Northern England/UK
  • The ability to drive

Backgrounds in HA/Social Housing, Cladding businesses or Clientside Project Management specifically on Cladding related work is essential.
