Job Description

Reporting directly to the UK based CEO, with a dotted reporting line to the parent company CFO in Milan, this role will take responsibility for Financial Reporting, Statutory Accounts, Board Reporting, Treasury, Balance Sheet Control, Cash Forecasting as well as ad hoc project work.

The role will involve international travel as and when necessary to support country controllers and / or MD's


  • Ensure the Group maintains a strong financial control environment
  • Ensure all relevant monthly and annual reporting is completed accurately and timely
  • Oversight of statutory accounts, tax filings and local requirements ensuring compliance
  • Treasury and cash management
  • Manage key relationships both internally and externally within the various finance departments, with Italian group finance team, external auditors, and other advisors
  • To support the CEO and country MD's in identifying opportunities to improve operational performance and the ongoing monitoring of the global business
  • Working with colleagues on commercial agreements and contracts
  • Manage the development of the group's financial controllers and finance teams to ensure skills and knowledge are aligned with group needs
  • Significant ad hoc project work

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA or equivalent) with a strong accounting background and technical accounting experience. They will possess the genuine drive and commitment to produce the highest quality work and to always deliver technical expertise.

Experience in:

  • Commercial agreements & contracts
  • Group and multi-site accounting
  • Preparation of budgets, forecasts, forex


  • Good soft skills
  • Able to work in different cultures
  • High degree of accuracy
  • Solid business experience
  • IT knowledge / awareness
