Job Description
Moneyfacts Group is now looking for an experienced Sales Manager to head up our Business Development team. The role will report to the Chairman and Managing Director. This is an exciting time to join Moneyfacts, with the opportunity to lead a talented team across our B2B and B2C sales divisions.

As the head of Business Development, you will play a key role in helping us achieve our sales acquisition and renewals targets.

You will have accountability for each of our sales teams; Data Services; Magazine Advertising sales; Star Rating sales; Awards and the Consumer Comparison website.

You will be passionate about implementing sales strategies that ensure you and your team are hitting your sales targets and beating expectations and delivering the products the customers need.

You will also build your own strong, collaborative relationships at the most senior level with our customers, and be a strong, confident presenter at board room level.

You will relish the opportunity to be in front of Marketing and Product Directors and CEOs. You will be tasked with keeping a close eye on the market and competitors to ensure that we are at the forefront of customer's minds, taking advantage of any opportunities that can be jumped on to grow our sales numbers.

The role will work closely with our teams in Marketing, IT, Events, Data and Analytics to ensure we deliver a joined up programme of sales activities.

The Successful Applicant
8+ years of business development in the financial services arena.

Good knowledge of I.T. financial products. Experience in managing and developing sales teams.

A hands-on approach with a significant and demonstrable personal track record of winning new business.

A knowledge of personal finance products ideally from a banking or building society background.

A knowledge of financial regulation so far as it relates to product sales.
