A well-established law firm is looking for an accomplished IT Director to join its senior leadership team, based in Colchester, Essex. The business embraces flexible and hybrid working so you will be able to work from home 3 days per week.

In order to be suitable for this role, you must be a capable IT Director with strategic vision, a passion for innovation, and demonstrable experience of leading digitization and change projects. Key focus areas will include overseeing a case management system migration, optimizing IT systems, and enabling the business to capture and analyse data more efficiently. Previous experience working as an IT leader within the legal sector would be advantageous to your application.

In this business-critical role, you will report directly to the CEO and have full responsibility for developing the technology strategy and vision of the Group. You will provide inspirational leadership to the 5 person IT team, embed a culture of continuous improvement and provide an exceptional support service to circa 200 users.

You will devise and implement the IT strategy and deliver a robust, efficient, and secure technology environment. In addition to creating and delivering the IT roadmap, you will partner with the executive team to drive forward technological innovation and business growth.
