Job Details

A Sales and Marketing Director is required to help drive the growth of the business. Playing a hands on role, you will set and execute the strategy across both the private and public sector target markets.

Description

As the Sales and Marketing Director, you will:

* Manage the sales forecast, achieving growth, and exceeding annual sales targets

* Identify, coach and develop sales team to support growth

* Responsible for the small Marketing team to ensure their efforts compliment and support sales opportunities

* Maintain and develop long-term customer relationships with strategic accounts across Public and Private sector

* Respond and allocate required resources for successful bid proposals

* Ensure that the sales strategy aggressively targets expanding the customer base across new areas

* Track changing trends, economic indicators and competitor products

* Support the design and implementation of first-class products into the marketplace, by feeding back the customers needs and expectations

* Identify and respond to all opportunities in a timely and efficient manner and work with internal stakeholders to win the business

Profile

As the Sales and Marketing Director, you will:

* Have demonstrable experience in managing, coaching and leading a sales team.

* Have a technology solution, consultancy background into the Automotive, Fleet industries, Manufacturing, Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain sectors

* Be analytical in your approach, using data effectively to help make business critical decisions

* Be commercially astute and accurate/confident in providing forecasts/budgets to the leadership team

* Ideally have experience in driving products/services into new markets/geographies

* Be experienced across both Public and Private sector and understands the processes in putting together successful bid

* Lead from the front- be a true brand ambassador for the organisation

* Have exceptional interpersonal and presenting skills, comfortable in working with multiple stakeholders at various levels

* Happy to operate of the Manchester office as required
