Our world leading beauty client are looking to recruit an experienced Operations Director to join their forward thinking, motivated and high performing team. As the Operations Director you will be you responsible for ensuring the highest level of service whilst creating an environment of innovation and continuous improvement.

The Operations Director will be accountable for the creation and implementation of the business operating strategy, in conjunction with the extensive day to day production and manufacturing related activities on site. As the Operation Director, you will thrive when working in a high pressured, busy environment. Will enjoy working in collaboration with of business leaders, and relish playing an integral part in a leadership team.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Operations Director:

• Driving improvement of Plant operations, ensuring the factory are achieving volumes required as per schedule adherence
• Ownership of the Operational departments Annual Operating Plan & P&L performance to meet and deliver annual savings
• Create and execute the production resource plan to provide excellent service to all customers whilst optimising total delivered costs, cash, and supply chain time
• Set the highest standard of quality assurance for all products by engaging the site's 6-sigma efforts
• Ensure GMP compliance, manage deviation investigation to maintain the facility, systems, and processes in continuous inspection readiness state
• Design and create change strategies and projects
• Provide technical leadership in solving process issues involving equipment, scale, raw materials, process optimization and process changes

Essential Skills/Experience required of the Operations Director:

• An experienced Operations Director, ideally within the manufacturing / distribution space
• You will have experience of working within a global business, with the wider global team, including planning hubs
• You will understand the warehousing, manufacturing and distribution sector, and the importance of planning, engineering, and health & safety
• You will be an ambitious professional, who is resilient accountable and enjoys 'owning' tasks
• You will be innovative, enjoy bringing ideas to the table and forward thinking in your work
• You will enjoy driving results, make continuous improvements, and enjoy creating and cultivating a team environment
