Senior Commercial Finance Manager being hired for global Telecoms business in Berkshire!

Stanton House is currently partnering with a household brand within the Telecoms industry, who are looking to hire a commercially minded Senior Commercial Finance Manager to join their team. This key Finance role is pivotal in driving and shaping the future growth of this segment. The key areas of focus will be providing meaningful and value add financial insight into performance, and providing high quality commercial analysis and driving partner acceleration.

This role is an outstanding opportunity for a high calibre, commercially minded business partner to provide first class financial decision support. The candidate will be highly numerate, display strong analytical and presentational skills and be able to communicate confidently to senior management.

To successfully deliver in the profile position, you will need to have:

• Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
• Demonstrable business partnering and commercial Finance experience in a large corporate
• Strong Excel skills are a must
• Must be able to demonstrate a self-starter mentality and have a proactive work ethic
• Excellent stakeholder management skills to ensure high levels of engagement
• Experience of adding commercial value and prioritising financial integrity

A little more information about the role:

• The main focus of the role is to drive and hold the business to account on their financial & operational performance and will be an integral part of the P&A leadership team helping to shape & align on the strategic priorities.
• The role has extensive interaction with senior stakeholders including the Business Directors, Head of Commercial, Strategic Partners, Sales Managers & the Finance Management Team.
• It is imperative the successful candidate fully understands the financial performance and current trends. On a monthly basis, key insight will be provided to the business, which explains current performance, identifies any potential risk & opportunity in a rolling outlook, highlights performance against key strategic initiatives.
• The role needs to evaluate the financial performance of each strategic partner and work with the commercial & sales team to optimise value.
• The heart of this role is to ensure financial integrity of the segment. This role will work closely with the Financial Operations to ensure Partner commissions are in line with the agreements based on their performance.
