Looking for a Marketing Manager who is a self-motivated individual with a "can do" attitude to join our growing Product & Marketing team. This exciting new Marketing Manager role involving the sale and associated customer experience of the latest IT, Communications, Mobile and Energy products to UK SMEs.

Description

  • Work closely with the Head of Marketing & Products
  • Input and build the optimal marketing and activity plan (either acquisition, cross-sell or retention) to achieve the annual KPI's
  • Direct responsibility for the PPC, SEO, Re-targeting and Aggregator channels
  • Use prior performance, analysis and insight/ to build Customer led, cross channel (Direct and/ or Digital) plans - supported by promotions, campaigns and contact strategies to deliver commercial objectives
  • Produce world class, insight led briefs to the Marketing Agency on commercial objectives and campaign requirements. Ensure that creative executions meet brief requirements
  • Define test & learn (champion/challenger) based activity to continually protect and improve marketing response rates - working across new propositions, pricing, data and contact strategies - ensure learning is embedded in future activity
  • Produce presentations, lead meetings and support Head of and Directors with marketing strategy development
  • Own relationships / be the marketing interface with wider business stakeholders - including Product, Pricing and Partnerships/ Partners
  • Work with and influence internal stakeholders, including; Insight & Analysis, Sales, Customer Sales & Service, Compliance and Operations to ensure activity is well planned, well thought through and executed
  • Lead projects to improve a key process, launch a new initiative or improve a customer journey
  • For your area of responsibility know the performance inside out and understand the drivers to improving metrics - working closely with Insight & Analysis team to lead inputs to forecast and annual budget
  • Understand which levers improve response, CPA and Pay back; price, segmentation, seasonality etc.
  • Ensure activity adheres to Lily's financial requirements and enable us to grow value across all customer segments - whilst being in line with our low regulatory risk appetite and in line with industry good practice
  • Be comfortable with applying legislative requirements (FCA, DPA) as well as adhering to relevant codes of practice and ASA requirements.
  • Ensure all marketing activity aligns to a customer need

Profile

Essential:

  • Marketing Manager with 4+ years experience.
  • Extensive and proven experience of managing people
  • Experience of managing relationships with digital media/search agencies
  • Digital content development and best practice to support SEO
  • Highly motivated self-starter with experience of working in a results driven environment and able to engage the right stakeholders
  • Multi-tasker able to work well under pressure, with competing priorities and pace to deadlines
  • Ability to solve problems
  • Ability to develop plans, forecast and analyse performance to inform decisions
  • Computer literate - able to use Word, Excel & PowerPoint
  • Team player - works well across team functions
  • Good stakeholder management skills - internally and externally
  • Strong analytical skills with the proven ability to identify trends, understand campaign performance and identify opportunities for growth and optimisation of campaigns
  • Detailed up to date knowledge of all legislation relating to promotions and codes of practice

Desirable:

  • Budget management, forecasting and planning skills
  • B2B marketing experience in the IT / telecommunications sector
